2025 Operating Budget Townhall

Join Mayor Malik and his Cabinet for a discussion on his proposed 2025 operating budget. There will be a short presentation from Mayor Malik, Finance Director Steve Fricker, and Deputy Finance Director Mike Wheeler including an overview of the proposed budget. Then, there will be small group discussions based on the four key priorities of this year’s budget: Public Safety, Core City Services, Strategic Initiatives, and Fiscal Responsibility. Each group will meet for a short period and then residents will have the opportunity to switch and sit with another group or stay and talk more with their current group. Cabinet members and staff with expertise in each area will lead those discussions, answer questions, and hear input on the budget proposal.
