New Brunswick Library Board of Trustees
The Free Public Library is governed by a Board of Trustees which consists of the Mayor, the Superintendent of Schools, and seven citizens appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Council, for staggered terms of five years, with the exception that the additional sixth or seventh citizen serves a term of five years. At least five of the seven citizens are residents of the City.
