For this month’s Community of Practice gathering we’ll be discussing affordable housing and Chicago’s mayoral candidates Brandon Johnson and Paul Vallas.
City Bureau reporters India Daniels, Jerrel Floyd and Community Coordinator Natalie Frazier will compare the candidates’ stances, mayoral power relative to the Chicago Housing Authority, how to decode political rhetoric related to housing, and any other questions you may have!
As always, all you have to bring is your enthusiasm and willingness to learn! CoPs are for Documenters, but everyone is welcome. If you haven’t taken an assignment in a while (or ever) or are looking for other ways to be involved, this is a great gathering for you!
